18 years comes and goes so fast! I was not exactly prepared for the big graduation! But now that we are on the other side of it, I have such a sense of accomplishment or maybe fulfillment. I am so proud of him to say the least. Jordan dreamed of moving back to Ohio for the summer to work at a country club, so back in November I helped him send out resumes. Well we had a bit of a scare the last week of high school. He had just flown back from prom in Ohio, when I picked him up from the airport he had complained of his leg hurting. The next day I made him go to school, leg hurting or not. He only made it through the first few periods when I got the call mom I need to go to the doctors. When we arrived at the Urgent Care the infection had spead over an inch within the past hour. After a very long week of fighting an infection MRSA, two surgery's and repacking the wound everyday, we received a miracle and the infection lost it's hold. MRSA is an infection that is resistant to most antibiotics. With that praise report he left for Ohio and did work at Avon Oaks Country Club for the summer. His dream is to complete the PGM program and get his degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. Which means he wants to be a golf pro for a country club. He finished his senior year with academic honors and received The Bright Futures Scholarship from the state of Florida. We are proud of you Jordan!
